Hi Gruppe!
We had a really great day today!
For those of you that came out, thanks very much for supporting the club and our events.
The information provided was extremely educational and useful, as we watched Brian Howeler show us how to remove deep scratches in our paint. Steve Leiding`s really bright red 1960 Roadster was used to show Brian`s expertise with cleaning, sanding and polishing the painted surfaces. Brian is a true perfectionist! They even had a 1958 Speedster hood on a stand for us to practice our wet sanding skills on! No Pressure!!
We also got to be up close and personal with a genuine 1973 Porsche 911 RS as the drive train was removed. Ben Brinker showed us how an all original RS was outfitted and supplied many details, following his trip to Switzerland to inspect an another original RS.
H&H brought in a complementary food truck for us from Big Dogg Barbeque that supplied us with an excellent selection of real down home barbeque items. The pulled pork and baked beans were my favorite! (We all sampled a wide variety of their menu items!) The amazing special Porsche cookies (with 356`s and 911`s on them) were snatched up very quickly.
Porsche of the Village supplied each attendee with a genuine Porsche Factory poster commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Porsche 911. Way Cool!!
See: https://www.hhmotorcarsllc.com/about-1 for more details in their services and available vehicles.
Watch for future DSG events and really hope to see you at the Bull Session in two weeks!!
356 Regards,
Peter Opa Boettcher
