The 18th annual VW/Porsche Reunion was held at the usual location, GE Park on 747 in Springdale on Sunday, September 27th, 2009.

The day was cool and breezy, but at least the week long rains let up to dry the pavement! The grassy field was a bit soggy in spots. This is a combined show run by the Cincinnati Volkwagen club, the local Ohio Valley PCA, and with help from the Drei Staaten 356 club. We had 8-10 DSG club members bring out their cars for this annual event. At least seven club members ( I lost count) were awarded a top 20 Porsche plaque!

Saturday evening prior to the reunion,  was an open house at Mark Schlachter's restoration shop (Metalkraft). Thanks Mark for opening up your facility.

After the show club members were invited over to Joe and Valerie Fee's house for a late Sunday afternoon cookout. Thank you Joe and Val once again for your hospitality. An added bonus was that we got to watch the Bengals beat the Steelers in the comfort of Joe's living room. Thanks to all who came out and we look forward to the 19th Annual VW / Porsche Reunion September 26th, 2010.  Mark the date and plan to join us for this event.
