The 2011 Drei Staaten Gruppe holiday party was held on Dec 3rd, at West Chester's Stone Creek Dining Company. About 40 members, wives and guests enjoyed the modern furnished restaurant, excellent food, and evening's activities.

After a great dinner, Carl kicked off the activities with two special awards. The annual "Car of the Year" trophy this year was awarded to Jim Graham, for his restored Speedster. Russell Clarke was awarded the Tom Oerther Spirit Award for his devotion to the marque and our club from his new home in Savannah.

Carl and Peter provided updates to their 356 Challenge, to see who can finish their restoration first in time for this year's ECH!

This year again the club recognized the efforts of several members, with Porsche factory Club Trophies. Awardees this year are:

We presented the ladies with a special gift from the 356 Goodie Store, a Registry baseball cap!

Up next was the White Elephant gift exchange. Once again we had fun with this activity. The jar of 356 rust did not make a reappearance, but one of the four year old chocolate speedsters did show up in one of the gift bags. The hot item of the night was a set of Porsche coffee mugs, which must have been traded six or more times! I believe everyone left having a great evening and we look forward to a larger gathering next year!
