The Drei Staaten Gruppe helped the Porsche of the Village celebrate the new Porsche family unveiling of the Panamera, at the "Family Tree" event on Thursday, February 25th. Porsche of the Village transformed their entire operation into a very special Porsche Family Tree event with cars from all of the 356, 911, and racing era's displayed meticulously in the dealership buildings. The collection of Porsches, numbering 50+, was arranged by era or type, e.g. racing Porsches. This was one of the best collection of Porsche cars under one roof as ever seen in Cincinnati. I heard one enthusiast remark, " We wouldn't have this many examples of Porsche history at Ault Park if Porsche was the featured mark!" A big thanks to Mr Jim Woodall, Bruce Harnish and the rest of the "Porsche of the Village" staff for a truly fine event. Our club set up an information table for those seeking more information about our club or the 356 cars. We had no fewer than 11 cars from our club arranged by year in the 356 rooms. What a sight! Thanks to the following members who brought their cars in for this unique late winter Porsche celebration.Jack Hahn (2), Carl Iseman, Tom Jones, Steve Leiding, Scott McCuskey, Bill Niemeyer, Tom Oerther(2), Dick Weiss, and Stan Yarrish. Many other club members were in attendance. Check out the Photo gallery below for some of the great cars that were shown that evening.
